ReplyDeleteI fail to understand the relevance of this recall posting to the subject of applying for the permit. This is a common practice in all Cities.
ReplyDeleteI am a retire physician from Pennsylvania recently relocated to Polk City and don't understand any of the postings. They are all non-substantive. If you have something to say that can be supported..Well then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. I can't get behind empty-headed thoughts with no direction. What a waste of time!Please stop bothering to post ill thought out comments. It only shows ignorance for the issues.

ReplyDeleteDon't know Trudy or Joe you speak of, but this is a perfect example of what I was referring to with my previous post requesting "facts"! The medical field, being of science requires factual information, not inane ramblings. Clearly, I'll have to look elsewhere for the facts I was hoping to get after reviewing the past blog postings. I have made an appointment to visit with Mayor LaCasia next week. Seems a likeable chap on the phone. Hopefully he'll provide answers (with documentation) to my many questions.

ReplyDeleteHe could go back and read the blog for the last 2 yrs. Look and see how the council was not voted in, they have raised our taxes, increased our water rates 110% in a yr and half, imposed fees and regulations, refused to give the water/sewer plant back to the county increasing our debt from approx 10million to 21 million for 30 yrs. Perhaps you don't mind paying one of the highest water rates in the state and high taxes but many in this town are poor , or on fixed incomes. We can't afford to live here, thanks to this council and snake of an attorney who is lining all his buddies pockets taking over this city.
If your a liberal and don't care about the citzens of Polk City then you and Mayor Joe will be best buddies. You should find out the facts before you tell us we don't know what we are talking about. Good luck getting the real story. They are a bunch of Liars.
Just like Mayor Joes statement that no one opposed the bond issue. We have fought it for two years. Thats the kind of truth you will get. You'll be sorry you moved to this corrupt city....

ReplyDeleteYou seem like such an authority. You have no idea what has gone on in this City over the last 5 yrs but come on here and tell us we need to do something. We do not have empty headed thoughts and we have tried to do all we can to stop the out of control spending and borrowing.
I believe it is you whom needs to learn the facts and then make a decision as to how we have fought for the people of polk city.
Perhaps you may have some good suggestions , we are always open to new ideas on how to decrease the debt and improve the lives of our residents. Coming on here and insulting everyone will not do anything to help this city.
