  1. Have Lakeland take back the water/sewer service. Sell off all of Polk City property. Turn in the charter. Any other solutions?

Time to move out of the Polk City clutches.

  2. I have moved away from Mt Olive, Polk City and called the water department to get water disconnected and get my deposit back. They say I can't do that even tho we have moved away and it is for sale. They say we are required to pay every month for service even if we are not living there or using any water. I can only disconnect if some one buys the place. We are not sure it will ever sell with the way the city is run. Can they do this???? Any suggestions who we can turn to would be helpful. Thanks

  3. IT MIGHT BE CHEAPER NOT TO PAY THE BILL AND LET THEM DISCONNECT.

  4. To collect funds for something not received is fraud.
The citizens need to hire legal council . At this point in the game . The only thing we can do is have our water turned off and go on strike .
